Rubix has won a three-year contract with Owens Corning’s European businesses, covering eight countries.

Under the agreement, Rubix has committed to help standardise the mechanical components used in Owens Corning’s plants, streamline sourcing processes, improving productivity and increasing the efficiency of working capital.

The countries covered by the contract are Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Rubix already had a well-established relationship with Owens Corning in Europe through its brands Orexad in France, Minetti in Italy and Biesheuvel in the Netherlands, and had been developing a business relationship in Poland with Paroc, which was acquired by Owens Corning in February 2018.

Philippe Hervieux, Group Key account director, Rubix, said: “We are delighted that we can continue to build our relationship with Owens Corning. This agreement is further proof of our developing pan-European presence in the construction and aggregates sector.”
