HACH LANGE is hosting a free workshop on wastewater cost minimisation. Taking place in Newcastle Upon Tyne on Tuesday 4th October, the workshop will provide attendees with an insight into the ways in which self monitoring can ensure regulatory compliance and help reduce costs.
The workshop will include both practical and classroom sessions, and explain the main factors affecting trade effluent cost. In addition, there will be sessions covering both continuous monitoring and sampling for laboratory analysis.
The key topics will include the Mogden formula, sampling techniques, TOC, COD, BOD and Operator Self Monitoring (OSM). Speakers will include technical experts from HACH LANGE in addition to staff from Northumbrian Water’s Trade Effluent Team.
The practical sessions will include an opportunity to operate best practise in sampling and testing, whilst also providing a chance to see HACH LANGE’s latest spectrophotometer the DR 3900.
