RS Components (RS) has significantly broadened its offering of gloves on the RS website. Over 650 new products have been added by the two acquired PPE specialists: Needlers, the food manufacturing PPE specialist, and Liscombe, a leading supplier of industrial safety and PPE.
In addition to the Needlers and Liscombe product ranges, RS has introduced a number of new brands such as ATG, Tornado and Uniglove as well as considerable range expansions of key brands including Ansell, UVEX and Polyco. This puts RS among the UK’s top glove suppliers, offering solutions across a variety of sectors.

The Needlers/Liscombe product launch will offer RS customers a selection of fast-moving product ranges strengthening our disposable, general handling, cut protection, chemical, and thermal protection glove portfolios; this will ensure greater support to RS customers across a wide variety of sectors.
The acquisition of Needlers in December 2020 was part of Electrocomponents’ strategy to add high-quality, value-creating bolt-on acquisitions to the Group, under which RS operates – and it has significantly enhanced RS’s safety, hygiene and PPE offering. The Liscombe acquisition, which followed in March 2021, has added further industrial safety and PPE specialism to the offering, deepening RS’s range and expertise.
