Health and safety solutions vendor SafetyBuyer has announced record growth figures with revenue expected to reach over Ј5 million per year in 2024. SafetyBuyer has adopted a digital-first approach and the increase in revenue is expected to coincide with its move to a headless web design, implemented by I-COM. Digital implementation has become an increasingly integral part of SafetyBuyer’s strategy, accelerating since 2021 with the implementation of the Magento 2 e-commerce platform. Alongside the focus on digital strategy, SafetyBuyer continues to focus on quality, value, and the user experience to support its customer service. This has been key for continued growth and customer acquisition. Ravi Bhalla, Managing Director at I-COM, said: “Headless website technology delivers benefits for the end users, such as an improved shopping and checkout flow, better data protection, and overall improvements in site speed and the mobile experience. These benefits lead to a positive impact on revenues, customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. “Headless technology also benefits the business through better protection of online assets, higher conversion rates and better visibility which impact the revenue overall. Using content management systems such as Prismic on a headless framework also improves the back-end experience for producing and managing content on-site without the rigidity and challenges presented by e-comm-only platforms such as Magento. This makes it easier to market the business online with less reliance on development. “To keep up with SafetyBuyer’s growth, it was also important that the headless design made the business future-proof. The front end and the database are decoupled, making it possible to easily re-skin and update the site without the need for future heavy migration projects. Importantly, headless designs can integrate with APIs and incorporate more AI than a Magento site, making it more adaptable to change and allowing it to integrate easily with third-party systems for maximum business efficiency within a bespoke setting.” Kevin Rowe, Managing Director at Safety Buyer said: “It is important for us as a business that we remain at the forefront of technology and keep our website looking fresh. With the rate of growth we are seeing it is also important to make sure we can keep making additions to the website. We are excited to see how the new website can help us to stay ahead of the curve and maintain our impressive growth.” |
