At the 2024 Light + Building trade fair, Fluke (booth #11-C70) will shine a spotlight on electrical testing tools for electric vehicle and renewable energy technology. Fluke will launch the FEV350 analyzer for AC EV charging stations. This handheld all-in-one tool enables safe and quick comprehensive testing of the safety and functionality of AC charging stations. Functions include PE pre-test to ensure no dangerous voltage is present, a visual inspection checklist, 30 mA RCD and 6 mA RDC-DD trip test, nominal voltage and phase sequence measurement and an automated Control Pilot that simulates various vehicle states with on-screen feedback of nominal results and waveform analysis.

Another highlight, the SMFT-1000 multifunction PV tester is designed for performance analysis and I-V curve tracing of photovoltaics systems operating at up to 1000 V DC. It covers all testing requirements according to IEC 62446-1. The testing equipment is optimized for ease of use. Both described systems provide clear walkthrough instructions and simple pass/fail indications on all test results on their color LCD displays. They also support troubleshooting and time-saving standards-compliant documentation and reporting, integrating asset management, data storage, and reporting on a single platform. Automatic test routines and innovative hardware features such as the “Keep the Leads” system for the PV tester save time in the field.
