Waste Managed, one of the UK’s leading waste management companies, is celebrating several significant achievements that demonstrate its continued growth. The waste management specialists have surpassed a milestone, serving over 30,000 customers across the UK – highlighting their customers’ trust and dedication. This growth in customer base has led Waste Managed to invest further in the business’s operations with a new 2,500 sq ft of additional space secured for the growing customer service team. To support the continued growth, Waste Managed has grown the team by adding 13 recruits – 12 roles will be based within the Customer Services team, and one will be placed in Retentions and Renewals. These new additions will bring the overall team size to 167. Investments have also been made within the IT team with John Huggins joining the team as the new Chief Technical Officer. Bringing 30 years of expertise and leadership to the business. John’s appointment reinforces Waste Managed’s strategic focus on leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance its services and streamline operations. Waste Managed has also announced the appointment of Stephen Jamieson and Lauren Wynn as its ‘Circular Economy Champions’.
In this role, they will spearhead initiatives aimed at advancing Waste Managed’s sustainability agenda, with an emphasis on increasing recycling and green options for customers. As part of this strategy. The business has also announced several internal promotions with Lynne Bailey being promoted to Director of Operations, and Kelvin Croney being appointed as Group Commercial Director. Their combined expertise and leadership will play a pivotal role in driving Waste Managed’s continued success and growth trajectory. To enhance the customer experience, Waste Managed has invested six-figures to launch a new and improved website. The redesigned site offers a user-friendly interface, comprehensive guides for businesses, and improved speed and functionality. In addition, a new customer portal has been introduced, providing a centralised platform for managing services, invoices, collections, and reporting issues. This innovative tool empowers customers to have greater control and transparency over their waste management services while enabling our customer service team to deliver proactive support and resolution.
