Intelex Technologies ULC, a global leader in cloud-based environmental, health, safety and quality (EHSQ) management software, today unveiled Insight AI, a new capability that transforms raw EHS data into predictive, actionable intelligence. The announcement was made at Ignite: North America, Intelex’s user conference bringing together EHS and ESG leaders, innovators and practitioners in Dallas, Texas, on 7–8 October.
Intelex’s new Insight AI capability introduces powerful data analysis capabilities for enhanced pattern recognition, predictions and trends to the Intelex platform.
“For years, EHS teams have been sitting on massive amounts of data buried in free-text incident reports and scattered spreadsheets… data that held real answers about where risk was building but took too long to find manually. Insight AI changes that equation: it reads and structures that data automatically, so teams spend their time acting on patterns instead of hunting for them,” said Mahdi Ramezani, vice president of AI and data analytics at Intelex.
Alongside Insight AI, Intelex is rolling out several additional capabilities as part of its quarterly release cycle:
- Chemical Procurement & SDS Management, which gives EHS teams a governed way to control chemical safety before a chemical reaches the site. Every new chemical request triggers a structured EHS review against site-specific hazard thresholds, with a full audit trail for every approval and a documented rationale for every rejection. A live, version-controlled SDS catalogue and automated approval routing are designed to cut approval cycles from days to hours.
- A modernised, mobile-friendly interface for Intelex’s Assets and Compliance Tracking System, fully backwards-compatible with existing configurations and requiring no migration.
- Enhanced lockout/tagout (LOTO) capabilities for hazardous energy control, replacing paper binders, static PDFs and local spreadsheets with a standardised system for authoring, reviewing, approving and maintaining equipment-specific isolation procedures, complete with linked training verification and a traceable change history.
- An improved Contractor Management application with a redesigned contractor portal experience.
- A host of UX/UI improvements, including Bulletin Visibility upgrades, better In-App Notifications, a redesigned Editor Grid and a rebuilt Hazard IQ Gateway for live gas detection alarms.
“At Ignite, we’re bringing together the people who know first-hand what it takes to manage EHS and quality programmes in a rapidly changing environment. This latest release reflects our continued focus on giving those teams the intelligence, connectivity and tools they need to turn complex operational challenges into measurable progress. We’re excited to bring these capabilities to the customer community at Ignite and put them directly in the hands of the people they’re designed to support,” said Scott Gaddis, vice president and global practice leader, safety and health, at Intelex.
