Cawleys expects to look back on 2019 as the waste management watershed year.

The year awareness of pollution and environment change reached critical mass across the world’s population, marking the beginning of the end of the global transportation of waste.

2020 will see the start of the clean, lean years. Waste management practises will polarise – solid, back to basics local recycling of a few core waste streams on the one hand and highly sophisticated, science-based solutions on the other hand to underpin the electric energy revolution which is coming.

Is it a coincidence that Cawleys has seen revenue increase by almost ten per cent this year and operational efficiency improved?  That it has scored some outstanding new business wins, and been acknowledged by the BBC as a front runner in the UK’s electric automotive battery recycling industry?

Flexibility, innovation and a good solid service will be key to achieving high recycling rates in 2020. This is especially true now that more stringent regulations relating to material containing POPS (Persistent Organic Pollutants) have been introduced.
